FUJIFILM Australia will be offering a new 3 Year Warranty on Fujifilm ‘X Series’ and ‘GFX System’ model cameras and Fujinon ‘XF’, ‘XC’ and ‘GF’ model lenses purchased from May 1, 2022, from FUJIFILM Australia Pty Ltd or an authorised FUJIFILM Australia Pty Ltd distributor, dealer or
retailer in Australia.
Yes. Everything included in the box with the camera or lens is covered by the 3 Year Warranty
Fujifilm’s warranty on optional accessories will not change and will remain as per local region warranty offer.
The 3 Year Warranty covers if your product does not function properly due to faulty workmanship or materials, except for defects caused by: impact to the product by dropping, accident, misuse, failure to operate the product in accordance with instructions, neglect, fungus, excessive wear and tear, and defects resulting from other extraneous causes such as battery leakage. In addition, the defects must not be caused by immersion in or exposure to chemicals, water or other liquids; exposure to dust, sand, and grit; or exposure to extremes of temperature and other climatic conditions (except and only to the extent that the specification for that product expressly states that the product has protection against such events).

The 3 Year Warranty offered by FUJIFILM Australia will replace the old warranty period of one year (12 months) for specified products. It is not an extended warranty
Yes. The 3 Year Warranty will still apply to your purchase if you purchased your product after 1 May 2022 from FUJIFILM Australia Pty Ltd or an authorised FUJIFILM Australia Pty Ltd distributor, dealer, or retailer in Australia.
The Fujifilm 3 Year Warranty will only apply to purchases from the commencement date of May 1, 2022. Purchases before this date will receive a 12-month warranty.
You should follow the warranty claim procedure outlined in the Fujifilm Australia warranty. It is however recommended that in the first instance you contact the Fujifilm Australia Service Centre and request support. For more information, visit fujifilm.com/au/en/consumer/support
In the unlikely event that you need to make a warranty claim, valid proof of purchase must be presented together with the product. If you wish to obtain a digital copy, don't hesitate to contact the authorised Australian retailer you purchased from to request a copy.
The 3 Year Warranty only applies to eligible products purchased from a FUJIFILM Australia authorised Australian distributor, dealer, or retailer after 1 May 2022. The full list of authorised Australian distributors, dealers and retailers can be found at https://Fujifilm-x.com/en-au/shop/.
For Fujifilm products purchased overseas, consumers should check warranty details with the overseas seller.

The new 3 Year Warranty will be available for the foreseeable future.
The Fujifilm Service Centre in Sydney generally has a repair turnaround time of 3 - 4 weeks, depending on parts availability. The 3 Year Warranty will not affect this turnaround time.
Fujifilm Australia's 3 Year Warranty is in addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. This new warranty is not intended to exclude or limit your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws. The expiry of the 3 Year Warranty does not affect those rights
